Steep limestone cliffs plunging into the ocean, rocky coral outcrops and strong currents are the perfect place for predatory fish – and the perfect place for you to jam your lures. Fishing in Lombok at its best. We get Mahi-Mahi (Dolphinfish), Barracuda, Marlin, Sailfish, Giant Trevally, Snapper and Rock Cod – but you’ll find a host of other fish. Whilst we can’t guarantee you will always catch something – we can guarantee that the views out along the cliff-walls is half the fun.
Rocky is a local fisherman who can take you fishing – you can go trolling, jigging, popping or just bottom fishing. Different fish are active at different times of the year – so catching a mixed bag of everything is unlikely. You’ll go out on a traditional double-outrigger boat and if you’re lucky the swell won’t be too big – but don’t stress these boats are extremely durable. As a fishing village – the captains of the boats also know the area like the back of their hands.
