Tommy is 100% mischief. Hes lived here his whole life. An accredited surf coach he has only ever had one person not stand up in the surf…and that’s because they were scared of the waves. Father of 2 beautiful girls. His guarantee for his own surf guide company – if you do not stand you do not pay.

BEN

DIRECTOR

Ben is a seasoned tourism addict. A qualified Divemaster – Ben spent 3 years working in Bali as a Dive Master before coming back to Lombok and working as a Divemaster here. Ben is a loving father to 3 beautiful girls. Ben looks after the tours for Charlies Shack.

NENI

MANAGER

Neni is our superstar manager. She has been in hospitality for 5 years and before that was in politics. Neni is mum to 2 kids. Go upstairs and check out Nenis vegetable garden. Her long term vision to grow all our own produce. Neni is a modern age feminist and an inspiration for the next generation of Lomboks female leaders.

PUTU

SPECIALIST

Putu is our allrounder. The face of our business delivering service excellence at our restaurant Charlies Shack. Neni is a huge fan of Japanese culture – don’t get him started on manga and comic-con. Putu learned to speak English by watching movies – he is an incredible young man.

CHEF MINJUN

SPECIALIST

Chef Minjun. A local legend fast making a name for himself in the South Lombok community. Trained in modern and western cuisine, Minjun has worked in elite venues in Lombok and Bali. His energy is contagious – and if you listen closely – you might hear him bust out a few songs in the kitchen while he cooks.

DESI

ASSISTANT COOK

Desi is our assistant cook – and this is her first time in hospitality. Seeking a career change, Desi came to us. A nurse in her prior life – Desi brings a different perspective to our business.

HOUSEKEEPER

Dian is our housekeeper and is the one responsible for the very high standards of our rooms.

Rini is in marketing and responsible for the communication to guests before they check in at Charlies Shack. With over 15 years in hospitality in Lombok, Rini can help you plan your journey in Lombok and make your pre-arrival to Gerupuk as pleasant as possible.
