Every element of Charlies Shack was designed with you as the guest in mind.  You’re a surfer. You want a place where you can meet new people, re-fuel after a solid surf and feel at home. The whole property is air-conditioned as the day time heat can be unbearable if you are not at the beach. There are two buildings which make up Charlies Shack. One on the beachfront (Beachfront room) and 3 on the other side of the road in another building (Standard Rooms). The entertainment area is open plan – and has been designed to facilitate people meeting each-other. All three rooms join this main open plan area.

The beachside room is our deluxe room. Nestled on the beach-side of the main road through the village – the room has a view through the bedrom window over Gunung Tunak National Park. Being in the middle of the fishermans village – you’ll have a great vantage from this room to truly immerse yourself in the village vibes. Watch as the fisherman come in with their catch, kids playing on the beach and surfers preparing for the next sessions. The restaurant is just 10m away, so you can walk out of your room and straight into the boat to take you for a surf.

The room has 1 Double Bed and 1 single bed. The single bed is furnished as a day-bed unless guests would like it made up for sleeping. The room has split system refrigerated air conditioning and filtered fresh hot water. Other accommodation providers in the area use bore water for showers. We do not.”
