Every element of Charlies Shack was designed with you as the guest in mind.  You’re a surfer. You want a place where you can meet new people, re-fuel after a solid surf and feel at home. The whole property is air-conditioned as the day time heat can be unbearable if you are not at the beach. There are two buildings which make up Charlies Shack. One on the beachfront (Beachfront room) and 3 on the other side of the road in another building (Standard Rooms). The entertainment area is open plan – and has been designed to facilitate people meeting each-other. All three rooms join this main open plan area.

The Standard rooms are cosy – but fully en-suited. We wanted to maximise the space in the bathrooms as female travellers said they couldn’t find bathrooms that were clean or had the space they needed to feel comfortable anywhere on the South Coast. Our hotel quality mattresses and linen will have you sleeping like a baby – we also have two types of pillow for each guest (firm and soft) – a little touch we found makes all the difference in being refreshed for the next days activities

There are 3 standard rooms – and all 3 open up to the lounge area. The lounge area is a great place to meet other travellers – but also makes it unsuitable for parties or loud noise as this can upset other guests.

All in all, we find that guests looking to meet other people – love staying in these rooms
